Assemblyman David R. Mayer (D) visits Rt. 47 construction site

Agate is conducting a $7.6M road reconstruction project along Rt. 47 in Glassboro, NJ. In June 2005, Agate was proud to host Assemblyman Mayer as he toured Agate's worksite to see, firsthand, the ongoing transportation projects funded by taxpayer dollars.

Site visits also provide a greater understanding of the economic value the improved infrastructure has to their constituents, from improved safety measures for the general public and construction workers to the economic benefit of employing NJ based subcontractors.

The visit is part of a statewide project sponsored by the Utility and Transportation Contractors Association. Members of the NJ State Assembly are encouraged to see the impact and economic benefits of the transportation funds they allocate by viewing and understanding various jobsites in the area.
