Three miles of road widening

One of Agate's largest projects to date is a $16,000,000, three-mile long road widening project along Rt. 47 in the cities of Millville and Vineland, NJ. The project owner, NJ Department of Transportation, originally anticipated that the project would take 3 years, from 2003-2006, and have two distinct phases. Agate Construction looked outside the box and said it could be done in approximately one year by tackling both phases at once, a bonus for daily motorists.

As the project was near a major shopping center, Agate also ensured traffic flowed smoothly as time neared for the winter holiday season. Read the attached article.
